Here is My Very Favorite Mulled Cider Recipe

It is apple harvesting time! And the weather is getting cooler so I am ready for some hot mulled cider. What about you?
I have tried so many recipes and have also purchased many prepacked cider mixes but I must say this recipe is my all time favorite. And since I always have these essential oils in my kitchen, I only need to get the cider. The recipe say to use a pan but I have also done a big batch in my slow cooker too. Make the house smell all warm and cozy.

Mulled Cider With Essential Oils
(times this recipe by 4 to = 1 gallon)
  • 4 cups (1 quart) good quality apple cider
  • 5-6 drops wild orange essential oil *
  • 4-5 drops clove essential oil *
  • 3-4 drops cinnamon or cassia essential oil *
Pour apple cider into a pan and place on medium heat until warm, NOT boiling
Add essential oils and stir well.
If not serving immediately, place in a crockpot to stay warm.
Store leftover cider in the fridge.
Yield–4 cups
*only use essential oils that are labeled with supplemental fact, meaning they are ingestible

Note: Do you want the great smell of mulled cider wafting throughout your home but don’t want to make a batch? no worries.
